GEOGRAPHY: RELIEF MAPS

The best way to learn some subject is to touch, handle, manipulate it... Even in Geography subjects: these are some maps of Spain and Europe where 6A pupils have built mountains, rivers, highlands, gulfs... A great way to see, touch and know the land relief.

JOAQUÍN SOROLLA: VISONS OF SPAIN

On tuesday march 12th, all 6th primary classes were to visit an interesting exhibition of great work of valencian painter Joaquin Sorolla. We learned some things about general concepts of Sorolla's style and how he painted his great work "Visions of Spain". Really we have appreciated it!

DRAMATIC PIECES FOR THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK DAY

We are celebrating at school our Book Week. On april 23th is the International Book Day, matching the date with commemoration of death of Cervantes and Shakespeare in 1 616.

For this reason, at school, the different classes have prepared some short theatre pieces and they have shared them with the rest of pupils.

BOTELLÀ: LIKE FIREWORKS BUT WITH PLASTIC BOTTLES

In Valencia we don't understand celebrations without fireworks, gunpowder, music... noise!

At our school we love it but it is dangerous... So, we do not a mascletà but a BOTELLÀ, i.e., a great noise show with plastic bottles and drums.

It's really a great experience and pupils enjoy and they love it!

RECYCLING WOKSHOP

At our school we are aware about care of environment. Today we had a recycling workshop with high school pupils and we learned how to reuse daily materials like plastic bottles, tetra bricks, etc...

THE SOLIDARITY GAME

These are some moments at The Solidarity Game celebrated at school. With this  initiative we want to raise awareness about need of solidarity between peoples and be aware about economic, social and cultural differences that exist in our world.

With our participation we can contribute to development of a little village in Cameroon, West Africa.

DAY OF PEACE ACT

Today, at spanish school, we have celebrated the International Day of Peace. It had to be postponed last Friday because of weather. At last, we can celebrate it today with readings, music and songs like "Imagine" by John Lennon, played by our flute orchestra, and our Equality Project Song "Un sentimiento de igualdad".  Fantastic act!

DISSEMINATION OF OUR EUROPEAN PROGRAMMES

This is the official webpage of our Regional Autonomic Education Organism to Valencian Community. You can see an article about our school and our participation at european programs: last Comenius Partnership and new Erasmus+ Equality Project. There are some pics for last school year with 5th primary pupils at mobility in Belgium: Liège, Bruxelles and Charleroi. There is also a little explanation about our current Erasmus+ Equality Project A great way to do to know our work and our illusion to whole educational community, and a magnificent way to multiply and disseminate our Equality Project. EQUALITY: INVESTIGATIONS ABOUT ARTIST WOMEN

There are a lot of man artist: painters, sculptors, musicians ... But, what about artist women? Maybe we can find enough sport women, architect women... And painters or sculptors women?

Our job today was investigate it and try to find these lost or forgotten women and the results were really interesting
